What are the characteristics of rubber sealing strips?

The rubber sealing strip is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. It has excellent aging resistance, high and low temperature resistance, chemical resistance, good elasticity and compression deformation resistance. It will not crack or deform after long-term use, and can maintain its original high sealing performance between -50 ℃ and 120 ℃. It has been widely used in manufacturing industries such as automobiles, doors and windows, machinery, electronics, and electrical cabinets.

2. Sealing strip products with different shapes, materials, or cold resistance, heat resistance, foaming, and special performance can meet the needs of design and use.

The main factor affecting the aging of rubber sealing strips is the natural environment. The influence of air components such as oxygen and ozone is mainly due to the occurrence of oxidation reactions, which destroy the molecular chains of rubber. However, the degree of influence of ozone and oxygen is different, and ozone oxidation is more destructive. The influence of light and moisture is a key factor in accelerating aging. The moisture in the air is a necessary condition for rubber to soften, and light is the main factor that promotes its discoloration. Long term exposure to sunlight can easily deform and soften rubber. Temperature has a significant impact on rubber, mainly in cold winters. If it hardens severely, it can lead to rubber fracture, and in hot summers, it can soften the rubber.

Rubber sealing strip because the material does not necessarily have different characteristics

1. Natural rubber sealing strip: Applicable temperature is -50~120 ℃; Its characteristics are good elasticity, good low-temperature performance, but poor high-temperature performance, poor oil resistance, and easy aging in the air.

2. Styrene butadiene rubber sealing strip: Applicable temperature is -30~120 ℃; Its characteristics are resistance to animal and vegetable oils, large expansion to general mineral oils, strong aging resistance, and better wear resistance than natural rubber sealing strips.

3. Nitrile rubber sealing strip: Applicable temperature is -30~120 ℃; Its characteristics are good oil resistance, wear resistance, and aging resistance, but it is not suitable for phosphate hydraulic oil machinery.

4. Silicone rubber sealing strip: Applicable temperature is -20~120 ℃; Its characteristics are fuel resistance, gasoline resistance, mineral oil resistance, high content, good oil resistance, but poor cold resistance.

5. Ethylene propylene rubber sealing strip: Applicable temperature is -50~150 ℃; Heat resistant, cold resistant, aging resistant, ozone resistant, acid alkali resistant, wear-resistant, but not resistant to general mineral oil lubricants and hydraulic oils.
