Glyd Ring  is a double-acting O-Ring energized piston seal for dynamic applications.
Glyd Ring provides low friction with no stick-slip, minimal break out force and high wear resistance. Main application is actuator cylinders. Installed in grooves to ISO 7425.

Both the Glay ring and the Stuart seal belong to coaxial seals, with the Glay ring used for piston sealing and the Stuart seal used for piston rod sealing. The Glay ring and Stuart seal are a combination of rubber O-rings and polytetrafluoroethylene plastic sealing slip rings. During operation, the O-ring is used to tighten the sealing slip ring (for the piston rod) or to radially expand the sealing slip ring (for the piston). The sealing slip ring is used as a direct contact sealing component in the reciprocating motion pair, so it has extremely low friction coefficient and self-lubricating performance. It can work under oil-free lubrication conditions, and the dynamic and static friction coefficients are almost the same. The friction resistance at the beginning of startup is very small, and there is still no crawling phenomenon during extremely low speed movement, The required assembly space is small, the groove design and processing are simple, the shaping performance is good, and the temperature resistance is high. There is no tendency for synthetic rubber sealing rings to bond due to vulcanization, and the service life is long. Currently, it has been widely used in hydraulic systems of engineering, mining, lifting, construction, shipbuilding, light industry machinery, and machine beds.

Step Seal: piston seal:

It is composed of a high wear-resistant PTFE composite material rectangular cross-section slip ring seal and an O-ring rubber seal as a preloading component. The O-shaped rubber sealing ring provides sufficient sealing force and plays an elastic compensation role for rectangular wear. It is used in conjunction with the guide support ring. The Gley ring is suitable for sealing between the hydraulic cylinder barrel and the piston, and is a bidirectional seal.

Working temperature: -40 ℃~+250 ℃

Working medium: hydraulic oil, water, steam, liquefied liquid, etc

Glyd Ring: piston rod seal:

The Stefan seal consists of a stepped copper powder reinforced PTFE slip ring seal and an O-ring rubber ring. The O-ring provides sufficient sealing force and compensates for the wear of the stepped ring.

The steckel seal is suitable for hydraulic cylinder piston rod sealing and is a one-way seal.
