Valve stem seals FKM75 NBR70 BLACK BROWN GREEN BLUE

Valve stem seals FKM75 NBR70 BLACK BROWN GREEN BLUE

Short Description:

Valve stem seals   FKM  NBR  BLACK  GREEN

Valve stem seals is a type of oil seal, usually made by vulcanizing the outer skeleton and fluororubber together.

The diameter of the oil seal is equipped with a self tightening spring or steel wire, which is used for sealing the engine valve guide rod.

Valve oil seals can prevent oil from entering the intake and exhaust pipes, prevent oil loss, prevent the mixture of gasoline and air,

and prevent exhaust gas leakage, and prevent engine oil from entering the combustion chamber.

PRODUCT ADVANTAGES

Valve oil seal is one of the important parts of the engine valve group, which comes into contact with gasoline and engine oil at high temperatures.

Therefore, it is necessary to use materials with excellent heat and oil resistance, usually made of fluororubber.

Valve stem seals provide a defined metering rate of oil to the valve stem interface of internal combustion engines to lubricate the valve guide and minimize engine emissions.

They are available for diesel and gasoline engines with and without boosting.

In addition to conventional valve stem seals, our offer also includes valve stem seals for engines with high pressures in the manifolds,

because of turbo chargers or for exhaust brakes on commercial engines. Featuring a low friction design,

these seals improve the quality of emissions and enhance engine operation by withstanding high pressures in the exhaust and intake ports of the engine.

Irrespective of the engine type, we offer two standard designs of valve stem seals:

Non-integrated seal: fulfills the function of oil metering
Integrated seal: additionally incorporates a spring seat to prevent wear on the cylinder head

Installation and replacement of valve oil seal

(1) Disassembly steps for valve stem oil seal:

① Remove the camshaft and hydraulic tappets, and store them face down.

Be careful not to interchange the tappets during operation. Use spark plug wrench 3122B to remove the spark plug,

adjust the piston of the corresponding cylinder to the top dead center, and screw the pressure hose VW653/3 into the spark plug threaded hole.

② Install spring compression tool 3362 onto the cylinder head with bolts, as shown in Figure

1. Adjust the relevant valves to the correct position, and then connect the pressure hose to the air compressor (with an air pressure of at least 600kPa).

Use a threaded core rod and thrust piece to compress the valve spring downwards and remove the spring.

③ The valve lock block can be removed by lightly tapping on the valve spring seat. Use tool 3364 to pull out the valve stem oil seal, as shown in Figure 2.

(2) Installation of valve stem oil seal.

Install the plastic sleeve (A in Figure 3) onto the valve stem to prevent damage to the new valve stem oil seal. Lightly apply a layer of engine oil to the oil seal lip.

Install the oil seal (B in Figure 3) onto tool 3365 and slowly push it onto the valve guide. Special reminder:

Before installing the intake and exhaust valves, a layer of engine oil must be applied to the valve stem.
